The Laws of Outsourcing

01. Whatever can be outsourced will be outsourced, if a penny can be saved

02. Whatever can be digitized will be digitized, if permitted

03. Whatever can be digitized will be offshored

04. Whatever cannot be digitized will also be outsourced

05. Whatever can be offshored can be insourced, if regulations allow

06. Whatever can be offshored can be moved to another shore

07. Whatever can be near-shored economically will be near-shored

08. Products and components will be subdivided until they can be outsourced

09. Processes and tasks will be subdivided until they can be outsourced

10. Outsourcing will spawn competitors

11. Offshore insourcing will also spawn competitors

12. Competitive outsource locations will lose competitiveness

There are more "laws", but folks need time to digest these!
